The F-35C goes to sea

The multi-national Joint Strike Fighter program achieved a significant developmental milestone on November 3 with the first successful arrested landing of an F-35C aboard an aircraft carrier. The aircraft, test aircraft CF-03, landed aboard the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) off the California coast at 12:18pm local time, and was followed a short time later by aircraft CF-05.
