Daher-Socata launched the TBM 900, an update from the TBM 850, in March 2014. The manufacturer delivered 51 TBM 900s, which are powered by a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-66D, in calendar 2014.
“We are continuing the momentum of our new TBM turboprop’s successful introduction in 2014, and we’re confident this latest demonstration will convince more Asian-Pacific customers of the TBM 900’s attributes,” Daher-Socata airplane division senior vice president Nicolas Chabbert said in a statement on Monday.
Daher-Socata said it hoped to demonstrate the TBM 900’s suitability for private and corporate owner/operators, as well as security and government users.
