Business jet manufacturer Beechcraft has launched upgraded avionics and cabin interiors for its range of King Air turboprops.
The company made the announcement at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva on Monday (European time).

The flight deck will be equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics, which has three fully interchangeable 14-inch touchscreen flight displays.
And in the cabin, wi-fi will come standard on the King Air 350i and 250, while it will be optional on C90GTx. The whole King Air range will also have dimmable window shades.
Certifications on all three models was tipped to occur in the upcoming months, Beechcraft said in a statement.
“We’re improving the pilot and passenger experience in an already iconic line of business turboprops by incorporating the latest technology in the cockpit and the cabin,” Beechcraft senior vice president for turboprop aircraft and interior design Christi Tannahill said in a statement.
“Owners/operators will love the improved value proposition and safety features, passengers will enjoy additional standard cabin features, and the new Pro Line Fusion avionics will help pilots quickly and intuitively manage their King Air flights.”
Beechcraft said deliveries of King Air 250 turboprops equipped with the new avionics and cabin upgrades were expected to begin in the third quarter of 2015, followed by the King Air 350i/ER in the fourth quarter and King Air C90GTx in early 2016.
Existing King Air aircraft can also be upgraded to the new Pro Line Fusion avionics.
