Big deck aviation returns to the Royal Australian Navy

Navy’s largest and newest warship returned alongside Fleet Base East, Garden Island, in Sydney Harbour on April 23 after a 6,000km (3,240nm), seven-week voyage to conduct the first of three first of class flight trials (FoCFT) to test and set the operating limits of the ship’s aviation elements.
