Dassault rolls out its largest cabin business jet to date
With its new Falcon 5X business jet, the French aviation conglomerate Dassault is taking a significant step forward in performance, technology and passenger experience – and its aviation history is setting the scene for what could be its most successful business jet family yet.
The twin-jet 5X, which was officially rolled out on June 2, was announced just a year and a half ago at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) conference in Las Vegas, and was previously designated SMS, for Super-Mid-Size. Indeed, Australian Aviation spotted SMS production number identifiers on some of the early frames under construction at Dassault’s Argenteuil productionfacility.
