Hawker Pacific has boosted its support and sales lineup with the acquisition of Aeromil Pacific.

The deal, announced on Friday, means Hawker Pacific will offer sales and support services for Textron’s Beechcraft, Cessna and Bell Helicopter range.
Moreover, Hawker Pacific said the acquisition meant the company was well-placed to take advantage of the growth of aviation services in Asia-Pacific and boost the quality of service offered by both companies.
Currently, Aeromil Pacific is Cessna’s authorised sales representative for the manufacturer’s single-engine range of aircraft in Australia.
Aeromil Pacific is also authorised to conduct maintenance on Cessna, Beechcraft, Embraer, Pilatus and Bombardier aircraft, according to the company’s website.
Hawker Pacific chief executive Alan Smith said the deal would entrench the company’s position as the region’s leading integrated aviation solutions provider and described Aeromil Pacific as an “ideal strategic fit”.
“The acquisition will significantly strengthen our capabilities in aircraft support and servicing, as well as round out our product portfolio with the addition of Cessna aircraft sales, spares support and authorised citation service centre,” Smith said in a statement.
Aeromil Pacific managing director and principal Steve Padgett will join Hawker Pacific as deputy chairman of Hawker Pacific Australia.
He will also continue as chairman of Alliance Aviation Services and remain as director of the Reginonal Aviation Association of Australia, chairman of the Australian Aviation Hall of Fame and a member of the Australian Air Force Cadets (RAFF) National Council.
“Hawker Pacific’s acquisition of our company is a testament to the tremendous value our team has created over past years,” Padgett said.
“Our companies have a shared commitment to providing innovative and high quality products and exceptional service to customers. I am confident that under the stewardship of Hawker Pacific, aircraft owners and operators will continue to benefit from the personal and dedicated approach our staff have displayed in the past.”
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
