A fear of flying

We have closed the flightdeck door on those that fear our world of flight

At times it is all too easy to take what we do for granted. Even if we don’t fly as crew, those of us associated with aviation generally have a baseline of knowledge that allows the oddities to make sense and rationally dispel what we perceive as irrational fears.

However, I was recently reminded that we may well be in the minority and the greater population really doesn’t know what aviation is all about.
