Looking back at yesteryear

In aviation we are constantly looking at how we are doing things today and what is going to happen in the future. Seldom do we look back to recall how things were done yesterday.

So let us turn the clock back to the 1960s and 70s and see how GA operated then. This was the era when fabric-covered Austers, Tiger Moths, Proctors and Piper Tripacer aircraft were giving way to the aluminium Cessna, Piper and Beech aircraft.
