Better late than never as Perth Airport’s high tech T1 Virgin Australia terminal opens its doors

The final phase in the $1 billion makeover at Perth Airport – the TI Domestic pier – opened to great fanfare and celebrations as Australian Aviation went to press.

Virgin Australia’s magnificent new home at Perth Airport has not been without grief and is well over 12 months late which has caused the airline considerable financial pain.
