Business aviation company ExecuJet MRO Services has expanded its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) presence in Australia with a new facility at Brisbane Airport.
ExecuJet MRO Services vice president for MRO services in Australasia Grant Ingall said the Brisbane workshop would offer line maintenance on business aircraft, starting with the Dassault Falcon 7X.

Further, Ingall said the decision to open a fourth maintenance facility in Australia in Brisbane was in response to market demand.
“We are opening the new station in Brisbane to increase our reach in the northeast of Australia and broaden our line maintenance capabilities,” Ingall said in a statement on Wednesday.
“For instance, Brisbane will allow us to meet demand for mobile repair party (MRP) and aircraft-on-ground (AOG) support.”
Brisbane joined ExecuJet’s current MRO capability at Melbourne Essendon Airport, as well as in Perth and Sydney.
The company was an authorised service centre for Bombardier, Embraer and Gulfstream aircraft.
Ingall said the Brisbane workshop was already supporting a Falcon 7X operator based in Brisbane with line maintenance.
“The Falcon 7X is the first aircraft type we are supporting in Brisbane,” Ingall said.
“We have invested in tooling and are looking to also support in Brisbane other business jet models and manufacturers in the near future.”
Ingall said having a presence in Brisbane would allow its engineers to more quickly respond to aircraft owners and operators to other parts of Queensland such as Cairns and the Gold Coast.
Earlier in 2019, the Australian government received three Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft operated by Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) 34SQN as VIP special purpose aircraft (SPA).
The three leased aircraft are based at Defence Establishment Fairbairn in Canberra and have been introduced into the fleet as the replacement for the Bombardier Challenger CL-604 jets.
In January, Dassault Aviation announced it had bought ExecuJet’s worldwide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations from Switzerland-headquarterd Luxaviation Group.
The deal covered ExecuJet’s MRO facilities in 42 countries across in the Asia Pacific, Oceania, the Middle East and Africa.
Execujet’s Fixed Base Operations (FBO), as well as its business operating and managing aircraft on behalf of owners, were not part of the transaction and remained within the Luxaviation Group portfolio.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
