The money will help Breast Cancer Network Australia, which ensures those affected by the disease receive support, information, treatment and care appropriate to their needs.

Alliance chief executive Lee Schofield said, “We did it. We reached our $100,000 fundraising goal. We are grateful to our cyclists, sponsors, supporters, staff and community who helped us raise these funds, as well as awareness of Breast Cancer Network Australia.

“Our 26 cyclists from Alliance’s bases and departments from around Australia, as well as our supporters, and support crew, came together to fundraise and ride almost 400 kilometres over three days across Kangaroo Island, McLaren Vale and Adelaide in South Australia.

“We enjoyed the friendly hospitality, picturesque landscape and delicious cuisine of these regions. We were proud to support these communities and their tourism economies, and I highly recommend you visit.

“At the finishing line we were greeted by Breast Cancer Network Australia’s CEO Kirsten Pilatti, Sue Clohesy and breast cancer survivors who have been supported by BCNA.

“It was a very fitting end to our charity cycling event. The last three days have been an amazing and unique experience and we are all proud of the result.”
