Canberra Airport welcomed its first-ever flight from Nepal on Tuesday.
Australian Aviation photographer Henry Howard captured the moment the Nepal Airlines A330-243, RA4135, arrived at 11:15am after transit in Kuala Lumpur.

The special repatriation flight accommodated 300 Australians, who were met by police, Border Force and health officials wearing masks and vests before being taken off for the 14-day hotel isolation.
It comes after a flight from New Delhi, India brought 207 Australians home to the capital on 15 May.
Yesterday, Australian Aviation reported how Emil Cooper shot the arrival of a A340-600 Johannesburg repatriation in Brisbane – from 1,400 feet aboard an R44.
The arrivals will mark one of the final designated repatriation flights as international airlines begin to resume commercial travel.
Last week, Australian Aviation reported that Singapore Airlines is set to resume flights to Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane for the first time since the closure of Australian and Singaporean borders.
Similarly, Emirates announced it will return to Brisbane and Perth and increase services to Sydney and Melbourne from 15 June following the UAE’s announcement that it will lift transit restrictions.
Last month, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai lifted restrictions to allow for transit, opening up Australia to much of the northern hemisphere again.
