CASA is offering three annual $5,000 scholarships to up-and-coming aircraft maintenance engineers to help them complete their Part 66 licence.
The program will be open to anyone who has worked for a minimum of two years in aviation and started training towards their licence or who is undergoing on the job training.

CASA said the successful candidates must demonstrate a “high level of engineering aptitude” and a “commitment to safety”.
Applications for the 2021 scholarship must be submitted by 19 February and more details can be found here.
The organisation’s acting director of aviation safety, Graeme Crawford, said, “High-quality aircraft maintenance engineers are critical to a safe and vibrant aviation industry.
“We have set up this scholarship program to build even more interest from young people in aviation engineering and maintenance.
“The scholarship will help meet costs associated with completing CASA theory exams or relevant costs incurred during apprenticeships and other training.”
Applicants must also not already be receiving financial assistance from the ADF towards their training.
