ADFA: To lead, excel

I recently attended UNSW Canberra’sAviation Safety Capstone Project presentations. The subject, Aviation Safety, uses a systems approach to consider how aircrew, aircraft, maintenance, management operations, and airspace influence safety in aviation, with an emphasis on and perspective through human performance. The course is a popular one among Air Force, Army Officer Cadets, and Navy Midshipmen for its interesting subject matter to those embarking on aerospace careers in the Australian Defence Force. Additionally, guest lecturers and local field trips to the Australian Transport Safety Bureau and Airservices Australia provide real-world relevance.
