Qantas’ first look at Project Sunrise cabins
At SXSW Sydney, the Flying Kangaroo let Jake Nelson experience Project Sunrise’s A350-1000s – physically and virtually.
Visitors to the SXSW Sydney expo in October had the opportunity to see firsthand the new Qantas Project Sunrise A350-1000 cabins with live mockups of first and business class seats, as well as a virtual reality tour of all four seating areas plus the “wellness zone”.
Each A350-1000 will have six enclosed first-class suites, plus 52 business suites, 40 premium economy seats and 140 standard economy seats, with the “wellness zone” between premium and economy cabins offering a place for passengers to stretch their legs.
