The ceremony allowed members of the aerospace industry to celebrate the achievements of colleagues and network with leaders and peers across a diverse range of sectors within the Australian economy.

University of Southern Queensland walked away as the worthy recipient of the coveted AI Innovator – Aerospace Sector award.

The Australian AI Awards showcase the achievements of a diverse range of sectors across the Australian economy, with other winners including professionals in accountancy and legal services, information technology, cybersecurity, aerospace, and more.

Winning one of Momentum Media’s coveted Australian AI Awards is an outstanding achievement in the artificial intelligence industry. It signifies the unwavering determination and commitment of individuals, teams, and businesses playing a pivotal role in propelling the industry forward.

As the first of its kind in Australia, the awards program provides national recognition to professionals and organisations that have developed innovative artificial intelligence solutions. The awards recognise innovators that are driving the economy forward across accounting, aerospace, banking, cybersecurity, defence, mortgage broking, law, wealth management, and various other sectors.

The judging criteria for the award categories are both quantitative and qualitative, acknowledging growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence, and contribution to developing Australia’s AI toolkit.

To decide the winners, all finalists underwent a thorough audit process, checking demographic and other information against category eligibility criteria based on the information provided in the submission.

Professionals and organisations that took home trophies tonight will gain national recognition for catapulting the industry forward, bolstering winners’ opportunities for career advancement.

“There’s no doubt that artificial intelligence and advanced machine learning will fundamentally transform the way we work,” Liam Garman, managing editor, real estate, professional services and security at Momentum Media said.

“I congratulate all of our winners tonight for their innovation and drive. You represent the best and brightest in Australian industry, and I raise a toast to your indefatigable efforts in advancing article intelligence.”
