Entries open for Australian Aviation Awards 2025

The highly anticipated program is designed to highlight the achievements of those leading the industry. The awards offer participants the chance to gain recognition, build exposure, and support the expansion of their careers and companies.

For executives, aviators, trainers, technologists, technicians and crew, through to students, academics, and large and small businesses, a submission is the first step to being recognised at a national level while building a reputation for excellence.

The awards program will culminate in a black-tie gala ceremony on Thursday, 14 August 2025, at Illumina in Sydney. 

There are 11 individual and 18  group categories to choose from this year.

The highest-scoring individual award winner will be crowned with the coveted Excellence Award.

The Australian Aviation Awards, in conjunction with event stakeholders Momentum Media, Australian Aviation, and a panel of leading aviation professionals, have developed a robust awards methodology to form the backbone for assessing, analysing and benchmarking Australia’s leading aviation professionals and businesses. 

The judging criteria for award categories are both quantitative and qualitative, acknowledging growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence and contribution to Australia’s aviation sector.

All businesses and professionals that meet eligibility criteria from across Australia’s aviation industry are encouraged to participate in the awards program.
