Federal parliament’s inquiry into social effects of FIFO and road DIDO- lifting almost as many- will tread a fine line.

House rents- if a vacancy arises- are round $2,000 pw . Emerald hospital – the area’s main one- reportedly survives on FIFO doctors working 3 weeks on 3 weeks off paid up to $3,000 a day.
