Qantas cancels a 787-8, adds Q400s and 717s

Both airlines are keen to assuage any lingering concern the ACCC may have about detriment to competition. QANTAS-EMIRATES BEGIN TIE-UP

Qantas will lease an additional five Boeing 717s and purchase three more Bombardier Q400s to bolster its domestic business, but has sacrificed a single Jetstar 787-8 in order to do so.
