Poseidon visits, Triton revealed

The Boeing P-8A Poseidon – slated to partially replace the RAAF’s AP-3C Orion aircraft under Project AIR 7000 – has made its first visit to Australia.

Two USN P-8s from the Air Test and Evaluation 1 (VX-1) Squadron based at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland arrived in Australia on June 1 to participate in TAMEX, an Australian-US joint antisubmarine exercise of the West Australia coast.
