A Yielding Appointment

The Virgin Blue board’s search for a new CEO has yielded a high quality catch in John Borghetti.

Still only in his early 50s, Borghetti brings to the Blue a wealth of experience courtesy of his 36 year career with Qantas, the last six of which he was the executive general manager in charge of Qantas mainline operations – with its over $10 billion in revenues, 16,000 or so staff and 200 or so aircraft.
