Fun flying and flying concerns

How do you get a buzz when you go to an airport? Go to a fly-in where everyone is having a fun time and the universal word is aviation.

That was the case for me over the weekend of September 19/20 at Cowra, NSW, where the Sport Aircraft Association of Australia held its annual convention. I had been invited to be a guest speaker at the convention, but it was just great mixing with friends old and new and looking over the 150 plus aircraft that attended. I even got to assist by helping with the tarmac marshalling of incoming aircraft. It was a good weekend.
