CASA introduces a night VFR flight review

The NVFR rating now requires a biennial flight review. Some pilots and instructors will not be aware of the need for the review.

While the Part 61 regulations, introduced on September 1 2014, are more applicable to flight training and flight instructors, one item that may have been missed by GA pilots at large was the introduction of a biennial flight review for the holders of the night VFR rating. Indeed the PIFR and the twin rating also require a flight review.
