RAAF Men Are Top-Test Pilots:

Two RAAF pilots have won major prizes for 1980 at the Royal Air Force test pilots’ school at Bascombe Down, UK.

Flying Officer John Nicholas Blackburn, 24, of Belgrave, Vic, was dux of the course. John won the awards for best all-round student and best all-round student on fixed-wing aircraft. He also shared the prize for a test evaluation report on the Hawk trainer aircraft.
