Airtest – Piper Cheyenne 400LS
Light Jet Performance With Turboprop Efficiency
The Cheyenne 400LS is not a pretty aircraft, as is a Piper Malibu or Falcon 200. These aircraft have aesthetic lines that appeal to the eye of any beholder and exude grace and speed.
However, when one looks at the Cheyenne 400LS there is certainly something subtly appealing about its lines, perhaps it is the insinuation of efficiency portrayed by the 106-inch diameter Dowty Rotol paddles or brute force delineated by the 1,645 ship Garrett turboprops. Whatever it is, the Cheyenne’s masculine lines seem to promise performance and it delivers in full.
