The Australian Aviation Awards offers leading professionals and businesses in aviation the opportunity to highlight their achievements and build exposure.

Organisations that have received this accolade have distinguished themselves from their competitors by attracting and retaining the best talent and strengthening their position in the marketplace by winning and retaining business.

For professionals, recognition will underpin career advancement and offer industry-wide national recognition.

Judged by a highly regarded and trusted panel of respected professionals, business leaders and executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, and academics, the Australian Aviation Awards program provides peer-reviewed recognition of the capabilities of organisations and individuals in supporting the aviation sector and a passion for driving the industry forward.

The awards were open to all businesses and professionals across the sector irrespective of location, specialisation, affiliation, or alliance and have quickly become the benchmark for excellence in the industry.

They champion the industry’s leading players, including executives, aviators, trainers, technologists, technicians, crew, academics, students, and large and small businesses.

The finalists’ submissions will now be delivered to the panel of judges, who will assess each submission against the criteria of each award category.

The judges will score each part of the submission across the category’s criteria and provide an aggregated score. A number of judges will individually assess each submission for each category and offer a blended score and assessment. Click here to view the methodology.

The combined judging scores for each submission for each category will be tabulated, with the highest-scoring submission deemed the winner. One winner will be announced per category.

Winners will be announced at the black-tie gala ceremony at The Star, Sydney, on Thursday, 29 August 2024. Click here to buy tickets.
