Tango Alpha Alpha – Flight 460 To Brisbane

Sunday, June 26, dawned fine with a cold westerly wind blowing up to 25 knots. In Sydney, that necessitates the use of runway 25 for arrivals and departures, and it was to remain like that for the entire day.

I was met by Captain Neville Grady and First Officer Roy Adcock who had just completed their flight planning. The Westerly winds were showing on the weather synopsis right along our flight path. Tango Alpha Alpha stood parked on the TA A Apron at Bay 7.

While Roy set up the INS, Captain Grady showed me some of the finer points that make the A-300 the magnificent machine that it is.
