Opinion: Seizing the golden opportunity in Australian innovation

It’s no coincidence that one of the largest aerospace corporations has decided to invest Down Under, says Liesl Haris of Gap Drone.

The Loyal Wingman project marks the first military aircraft designed and developed in Australia in over 50 years. Boeing chose Wellcamp Airport in Queensland as the site for its first international final assembly plant, dedicated to servicing its MQ-28 Ghost Bat, a multirole stealth drone developed in collaboration with the RAAF.
