Hawker Beechcraft announces first order for 1900D upgrade

Hawker Beechcraft Services announced on October 21 that it reached agreement with Raytheon Airline Aviation Services (RAAS) to upgrade its Beechcraft 1900D demonstrator with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 Integrated Display System. RAAS, which specialises in marketing Beechcraft 1900 aircraft to regional airline, freight and corporate operators, will feature the HBS IDS upgrade in its world-tour demonstration aircraft after installation next year.

RAAS displayed the aircraft, named the Missionator, at the Regional Aviation Association of Australia’s annual convention in September.
