Pacific Aviation Investing Heavily in Upgrading Facilities
People driving past Essendon Airport on September 14 1986 may have wondered why so many vehicles were parked around Pacific Aviation’s Hangar 204 on a cool and rainy Sunday afternoon. Had they glanced inside, they would have seen an audience of several hundred people from all areas of Australia’s general aviation industry gathered to witness Pacific Aviation’s launch – Beyond the Threshold.
The lights were dimmed and the audience, seated beneath silk parachutes draped from the roof, watched a sophisticated audio/ visual display presented by Pacific executives, to elucidate on the purpose of the launch.
