Avanti's flight deck is as you would expect it, EFIS all the way, though customer options will also naturally allow a non-EFIS fit including a combination as required by the operator.
Update – Piaggio Avanti
Piaggio Avanti
The quest to produce a turboprop with near-jet performance has certainly been a primary goal of several of the world’s leading corporate aircraft manufacturers this past decade.
Unfortunately, few have come anywhere near achieving that goal and indeed some have been bankrupted in the process. Learfan was the first, followed by the rather odd-looking Avtek while even Beechcraft have had to pour significantly more time and capital into their radical Starship than was envisaged when the project was launched during the early eighties. Even Piper foundered with an ever more powerful version of the already proven Cheyenne airframe, the 400LS, that despite exciting performance did not prove to be a big seller.
Meanwhile, a world away in Genoa, Italy, the long-established but generally little-known firm of Rinaldo Piaggio was busy developing an entirely new approach to the problem of gaining jet performance via a propeller-driven aircraft.
