Ventura Delayed

It is understood that the Lockheed PV-1 Ventura to be brought to Australia from America is having more than its share of problems.

The Ventura, N159U, was to have been ferried from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Stockton, California in preparation for the long overwater flight to Australia. It has been reported however that the machine recently suffered an in-flight engine failure and was put down at an airfield away from home base. An engine change with limited facilities is now required.
