On The Airbands

So many readers write to me to tell of their plans to travel overseas with their handheld scanner radios and invariably request local VHF frequencies for the areas they are going to visit.

As such, I’ve had to gear up a lot more professionally to answer all their questions in detail. My files are currently so full of overseas information that I can offer this service free, on the understanding I receive a stamped return envelope. I am now able to answer VHF/UHF enquiries for the Western Hemisphere, Europe and the Middle East. If you’re going overseas with your scanner, write to me for a VHF/UHF list of air frequencies for your main destination. Instead of wasting precious monitoring time searching for channels, you can have them preprogrammed before you leave home if you wish! Good value I’m sure just for the price of a return postage stamp.
