The Pentagon has issued details of its planned USAF fighter for the 21st century. This artist's impression of the YF-22 proposal put forth by the Lockheed-General DynamicsBoeing consortium (one of two vying for the contract) shows a stealth like aircraft, very much the shape of things to come. It is estimated that 750 YF-22 fighters would be built at a program cost of $U563.5 billion.

Jet Systems Win Major Charter and Defence Contracts:
Two highly sought after contracts, currently held by the TNT and News Ltd owned Lloyd Air of Ade- laide Airport, have been won by two associated companies based on Adelaide airport.
The contracts, for the carriage of workers between Adelaide and the Moomba natural gas field in the north of the state and for military target towing, have been won by Jet Systems Pty Ltd and Fleet Support Pty Ltd.
