MiG Flys

A MiG-15 has flown! Essendon Airport, Vic on Thursday, November 1st, saw a MiG-15 take to the air.

The aircraft, in fact a Polish built LiM-3, was originally scheduled to make its first local flight on Wednesday, October 31, but following a successful highspeed taxi run the first flight was cancelled due to poor incoming weather. The flight took place the next day.
