Airbus Rethinking Delivery Schedules:
Airbus Industrie may be forced to modify its delivery plans because of the current financial and operational problems faced by airlines worldwide.
In the US, at least two Airbus customers (PanAm and Continental) have filed as bankrupt, being in dire financial straits. PanAm already owes Al SUS34m for 12 A300s and nine A310s it leased, $US16m of which should have been paid when it sold its German domestic routes, as was agreed with Al in 1989.
