Rotor Tech a Victim of Gulf War

This year’s Rotortech, to be held between March 8 and 10 at Oakey Army base in Queensland, was cancelled as a result of security concerns emanating from Australia’s involvement in the Gulf War.

With the overall economy depressed, the HAA has decided not to seek an alternative venue and to instead concentrate on a 1992 event. Under active consideration is a plan for all of the various industry trade associations promoting under a common banner to hold their AGMs and annual expositions at the proposed Australian Aerospace Foundation sponsored event at Avalon in October of next year.
