 Airlines Seeking South African Rights:

At least nine airlines are negotiating for a return to South Africa as soon as international sanctions against the country are dropped.

The nine airlines known to be seeking rights to South Africa are Qantas, American, United, JAL, China Airlines, Kenya Airways, Austrian, Air Seychelles and Cathay Pacific. According to South African authorities, the latter three could be flying to the country “later this year”, though the Chinese and Kenyan carriers could commence services even earlier.
