Alan Joyce is set to headline this year’s Australian Aviation Summit, in one of his first public appearances since he stood down as Qantas chief executive.

The summit will take place on Thursday, 14 August 2025, at Ilumina, Sydney, and is being held with the support of our Principal Partner, Leidos.
Alongside Joyce, confirmed speakers include Leidos CEO Paul Chase, Captain Andrew Marshall and Leidos’ VP of airborne solutions, James Woodhams. Many more speakers will be announced soon.
In his keynote session, Joyce will draw on his experience leading Australia’s national carrier through turbulence and transformation.
