Easier Tasman Travel Link Seen

NZ Minister of Commerce, Mr Burdon, has predicted much easier trans-Tasman travel. He believes customs hold-ups would be minimised by the early 2000s.

Mr Burdon says passengers will be able to board an aircraft in Wellington and disembark in Melbourne with “no greater formality than if you were disembarking in Christchurch”.
