Reflections – Hiller 12, Iroquois & Macchi

Hiller 12B, Iroquois UH-1B, Macchi MB-326H

This is the last of my reflections articles and covers three aircraft. The reason for this is because I only had a brief acquaintance with each, and not much in the way of humour or panic occurred in that time. The three aircraft concerned are the Hiller 12B, that everlasting helicopter the Iroquois UH-1B, and the CAC Macchi MB-326H trainer.

Hiller 12B

I would never have got to fly the Hiller if the British government hadn’t demanded such an exorbitant fee for we colonials to fly its military aircraft.
