Victor Pody shot this dramatic photo of Jetstar’s latest A320neo, VH-A5E, after it arrived at Melbourne Airport in July. The delivery flight took it from Airbus’ factory in Toulouse to the Victorian capital via Muscat and Kuala Lumpur. The low-cost carrier unveiled the first of its 13 A320 neos late last year, which came alongside a separate order for 38 A321neo LR and XLRs. The A320neo replaces the IAE V2500 and CFM56-5B engines on the original A320 (the A320ceo) with Pratt & Whitney 1100G-JM and CFM LEAP-1A engines while being slightly larger.
