A passenger at Sydney Airport has detailed their Virgin Lounge ‘travel hack’ earlier this week in a viral social media post.
Australian traveller Josh, rollingdownunder on TikTok, detailed his steps to gain access to Virgin’s Lounge at Sydney Airport in a post entitled ‘How to get free food and beers at Sydney Airport’.

The post has since caught social media and television news attention, netting more than 46,000 likes on the platform.
“Sydney airport. This is how you sneak into the Virgin Lounge, let’s go,” Josh says while walking through the terminal in the short video.
“So, anyone that’s been to Sydney Airport knows there’s a big food court and in the food court there’s an escalator that comes down.
“You might wonder what that’s for, that’s where the Virgin Lounge is mate, that’s where the people exit.
“Now it obviously takes a few takes, but you’ve got to walk around and wait for the right opportunity (before sprinting up the exit escalator). Believe it or not, it’s that easy.”
Josh also admitted online that he has allegedly been using the ‘travel hack’ for years.
