A Good Idea?

So the waiting game is now well and truly over. British Airways has 25% of Qantas, Qantas has $1. 35bn in recapitalisation and will go to the people later this year to hopefully gain an additional $2bn as the entire airline achieves its destiny of becoming 100% privatised.

With a vastly reduced debt burden, the numerous benefits of a closer liaison with British Airways and the addition of Australian’s massive domestic clout, the 1994 model Qantas Airways should indeed be a significant player in the rapidly changing international air transport environment.
