Safran Helicopter Engines Australia, ARC Helicopters sign service agreement for Super Puma engines

Safran Helicopter Engines Australia has signed a support-by-the-hour agreement with aviation company ARC Helicopters to provide in-service support and maintenance for the Makila 2A1 engines powering its Super Puma H225.

From October 2025, the H225 will be operated by ARC Helicopters from Victoria to perform essential missions, including firefighting and utility operations across the region.

This new SBH® agreement strengthens the partnership between Safran Helicopter Engines Australia and ARC Helicopters, and demonstrates ARC’s confidence in Safran’s ability to deliver reliable engine support for demanding and time-critical missions.
