- Kuwaiti based Aviation Lease and Finance Company (ALAFCO) has signed an MoU for 30 Airbus A320neos and placed a firm order for six more A350-900 aircraft, bringing the total number of A350-900s ordered by the lessor to 18.
- South American carrier LAN has placed a firm order for 20 A320neos
- Budget airline Indigo has confirmed its record order for 150 A320neos and 30 A320s, following an MOU signed with Airbus in January this year.
- Frontier Airlines parent company Republic Airways Holdings announced an MoU for 40 A320neos and 40 A319neos. If confirmed, all aircraft will be powered by CFM International’s LEAP-X engine.
- Danish lessor Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) has ordered 10 ATR 72-600s, with options for 10 more in a deal worth $US450 million.
- Ecuadorian flagship carrier TAME signed a firm order three ATR 42-500s worth US$45 million.
- Newly merged South American airline AviancaTaca announced an MOU for 51 A320 variants, including 33 A320neos.
- UTair Aviation has agreed to purchase seven Boeing 737-900ERs and 33 737-800s.
