“Some flight delays, cancellations and disruptions are expected as we return our operations to normal and we advise you to visit Flight Status for up to the minute information on specific flights. As always, safety remains our first priority.”
The airline’s first flights to depart were QF41 from Sydney to Jakarta at 3:41pm, and QF438, Melbourne-Sydney, at 3:58pm.
“Qantas sincerely regrets the impact on customers of industrial action over recent months and looks forward to a rapid recovery and period of stability,” the airline said.
