Bombardier launched its six-seat Learjet 70 and eight-seat Learjet 75 (pictured) at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva on May 14.
Updates of and replacements for its Learjet 40XR and 45XR, the aircraft feature new Honeywell 3,850lb (17.1kN) TFE731-40BR engines and new canted wingtips, yielding a nine per cent increase in field performance and a four per cent reduction in fuel burn. Other features include the ‘Vision Flight Deck’ based on Garmin’s G5000 digital avionics suite and cabin improvements from the forthcoming Learjet 85.
