Hawker Pacific and Aviation Australia sign training pact

Aircraft mechanical engineering students studying at Aviation Australia will get the opportunity to gain advanced hands-on experience at Hawker Pacific’s Cairns facility after the two organisations signed a new agreement on June 12.

Under the new arrangements, students undertaking Aviation Australia’s two year International Training Diploma program at its Brisbane campus will relocate to Cairns to undertake 10 weeks of intensive practical experience with Hawker Pacific.

A group of 10 engineers from the Royal Oman Police will be the first to go through the program from early August.
