Boeing, Airbus and Embraer record air show orders

Boeing, Airbus and Embraer have all recorded sales during the Dubai Airshow, albeit only in small numbers.

Boeing announced on November 17 that Tassili Airlines of Algeria ordered four Boeing 737-800s. Tassili is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sonatrach Petroleum Corporation, and will use the aircraft primarily to transport employees and cargo within Algeria. Boeing also recorded a sale of seven Boeing 737-800s to Air Algerie.

On the same day, Embraer announced that Oman Air has ordered five E-175s, and taken purchase rights on a further five. Four of the jets will be used in airline service, while one will serve the Royal Omani Police.

Airbus also announced that Nepal Airlines has signed an MoU to order one A320 and one A330. The manufacturer also sold one Airbus Corporate Jet to VIP operator Comlux, and two A380s to Air Austral as detailed here.
